| “IT’S A WOMAN’S WORLD” is being staged by Creative Events, a Durban-based company that understands the exhibition industry, and the needs and desires of the women of Durban and KwaZulu-Natal.
We are ideally positioned to stage an exhibition of this scale, having built up an excellent rapport with major role-players in the City through our staging of the Durban International Boat Show over the last five years, along with our appointment by the City as the Event Management Team for the ‘07-’08 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
Creative Events is owned and run by Devra Smith and Barry Meehan, who have both spent their working lives in the theatre and entertainment industries. Barry was also a part of the organising team for the highly-successful “Woman’s World Fairs”, held in Durban in the mid-eighties.
For this event, Creative Events has brought in the services of Neil Snyder, who was previously with Unilever Project Management and Training. He also has extensive show, staging and entertainment experience, and will definitely be an asset to the management team for the event.
